Overview

The Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for participation in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to applications systems analysis and programming activities. Responsibilities

Requirements & data gathering, analysis, and stakeholder interactions around business process and technology needs. Primary responsibilities include business analysis, stakeholder engagement and implementation of business initiatives for Markets securities and services Operations/Technology. Develop the inventory of project artifacts as necessary including Project Plans as required for all key technical deliveries, Business Requirements Documentation (BRD’s), Functional Requirements Documentation (FRD’s) and Test Strategy/Planning documents for different phases of testing including User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Taking ownership of all assigned project responsibilities including milestone setting, task and actions management, co-ordination with Tech & Business team and execution of plan within required timelines and to stakeholder quality expectations. Partner with sponsors / stakeholders and manage the technology solutions from project conception through implementation and maintenance. Collaborate with technology partners for technology solutions, project planning & testing management to ensure quality delivery of software solution to the business. Identify and communicate risks and impacts, considering business implications of the application of technology to the current business environment, whether stated or not, and manage to resolve or escalate accordingly. Provide implementation / post-implementation project support. Foster and maintain relationships with business stakeholders, support, testing and development team members. Ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision. Exercise independence of judgement and autonomy. Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members. Adequately assesses risk when making business decisions, demonstrating consideration to the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citi, its clients, and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations. Adhering to company policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices. With the ability to escalate, manage and report control issues with transparency. Qualifications

5+ years of experience with an in-depth knowledge of Capital Markets/Trading, Investment Banking and Markets Risk. Must have general Financial Services background along with a history of working on Technology projects Proficient in using SQL for data analysis. Competent with MS Excel. Good in Data Modelling, Data Mapping and Data Mining. Knowledge of ETL; understanding functional workflows to automate the transfer of data, the loading/processing of data into tables and reporting via a User Interface. Data Visualization experience, working with BI tools. Tableau experience would be advantageous. Working knowledge and experience of Agile and SDLC Methodology Well versed in using JIRA (Requirement Management and Test Management). Domain

Knowledge of Capital Markets/Trading and Investment banking, Trade Life cycle of various Markets products (Equities, Derivatives etc..). Solid understanding of operations within Front office, Middle office and Back office. Solid understanding of systems and processes, in the banking domain. Experience in Risk/Liquidity/Regulatory reporting would be a big plus Good Understanding of reconciliation, Risk and control Operations is a plus Education
