Overview of the Role:
As a Material Handler, you will play a vital role in preparing, processing, and moving merchandise efficiently and safely while adhering to established production guidelines. You will also receive cross-training in various departments, allowing you to support our business operations effectively.
Your Responsibilities Include:
Receiving and processing merchandise, including picking, packing, shipping orders and returns, and loading/unloading trailers.
Inputting data to generate reports.
Providing exceptional customer service by communicating with vendors and associates to resolve issues and ensure compliance.
Promoting a safe work environment by following all company, state, local, and OSHA safety regulations and promptly reporting potential violations.
Adhering to company policies, procedures, and accuracy standards, while maintaining regular attendance and compliance with dress code requirements.
Maintaining a flexible schedule and the ability to work any assigned shift and overtime as needed.
Qualifications:
Strong proficiency in English to understand and follow essential safety and operational guidelines.
Excellent collaboration and teamwork skills.
Ability to multitask and manage various responsibilities efficiently.
Willingness to complete company training programs and cross-train in at least two different departments.
