The General Manager (GM) is integral to providing a superior experience for both staff and guests. The GM does just what you think they would!
What You'll Be Doing This full-time position oversees all operations of the taproom and plays a strategic role to drive profitability and meaningful growth. The GM manages staff, coordinates schedules, maintains quality standards, and ensures compliance with health and safety regulations. Reporting to the Director of Taproom Operations, the GM also develops and executes business strategies, manages budgets, and fosters a positive work culture that reflects brand values. Strong leadership, operational expertise, and a passion for craft beer, cider, cocktails, and hospitality are essential. As part of the restaurant industry, weekend and evening availability are required.
What You'll Need
Minimum of high school diploma; advanced degree a plus
Minimum of two (2) years of General Manager or Assistant General Manager experience in a restaurant setting; brewery/beverage industry a plus
Strong knowledge of full service restaurant operations
Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to train, motivate, and develop staff
Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance metrics
Exceptional guest service and communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while maintaining quality and efficiency
Knowledge of health, safety, and food handling regulations
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic office computer applications
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
Passion for craft beverages, hospitality, and delivering memorable guest experiences
Forklift certification a plus
Authorized to work in the U.S.
