Supervisor of Additive Manufacturing

to join our Long Beach team, reporting to the Manager of Additive Manufacturing. In this

full-time ,

exempt

role, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our additive lab, ensuring efficiency, productivity, quality, and safety. Your leadership will directly support the development of the components and systems needed to design and build the world’s first artificial-gravity, human-rated space stations. Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day additive manufacturing operations across assigned shifts Lead a team of additive technicians, managing all equipment, post-processing, and quality control activities Conduct daily team meetings to align on goals, handovers, and expectations Partner with manufacturing planners to drive efficient scheduling and production prioritization Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams on process improvements and preventive maintenance Continuously optimize additive platform operations for efficiency and scalability Ensure strict adherence to aerospace safety protocols, quality standards, and inspection requirements Minimum Qualifications

4+ years of manufacturing experience, including at least 2 years with metal additive manufacturing technology 2+ years of experience leading a team or project(s) Experience with metal additive post-processing operations, including support removal, surface finishing, machining, and heat treatment Strong communication and collaboration skills Preferred Skills & Experience

Extensive experience operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining large-scale multi-laser powder bed platforms Demonstrated leadership experience with a proven track record of team management Ability to adapt to changing priorities and drive process improvements and innovation Additional Requirements

Willingness to work split shifts and/or weekends to support critical mission milestones Ability to lift up to 25 lbs unassisted Salary Range: California $93,000 - $127,400 USD Compensation and Benefits

Base salary will vary depending on job-related knowledge, education, skills, experience, business needs, and market demand. Salary is just one component of our comprehensive compensation package.
