Build and design unique building automation solutions that meet customer requirements for new and existing facilities, including higher education and K–12 facilities, data centers, hospitals, pharmaceutical facilities, high-rise buildings, and labs. Prepare design documents such as mechanical system layouts, electrical drawings, bills of materials, sequences of operations, valve and damper schedules, and DDC panel layouts. Design building automation network architecture to support operator workstations, DDC field panels, and third‑party integration devices connected via Modbus, Siemens APOGEE, or BACnet. Analyze plans, construction contract specifications, and codes to determine project requirements and risks. Design building and space pressurization solutions, chiller and boiler plant sequencing control, and related systems. Prepare engineering re-estimates and coordinate with sales and management to ensure alignment of scope and customer satisfaction. Perform quality assurance and peer-review engineering documents. Qualifications
Basic Qualifications : High school diploma or state-recognized GED; experience in building automation (HVAC controls) design. Mid-Level: 3+ years; Senior Level: 5+ years. Ability to travel up to 10%. Demonstrated ability to design large and complex jobs with some deviation using standard tools, products, and practices. Knowledge of industry engineering fundamentals and business operations. Proficiency in engineering design software or drafting tools (e.g., AutoCAD or Microsoft Visio). Legal authorization to work in the United States without company sponsorship. The pay range for this position is $49,100 - $106,000. Actual wage offered may vary based on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location. About Siemens
