BCG Attorney Search
A law firm seeks a Corporate Litigation Attorney in Houston, TX. This role is essential for managing high-stakes corporate disputes, providing legal representation, and offering strategic counsel to corporate clients.
Duties
Represent clients in depositions, court hearings, mediations, and legal proceedings. Manage complex commercial litigation cases, including breach of contract and intellectual property disputes. Conduct legal research and analysis to provide solutions to clients' problems. Draft legal pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery documents. Provide ongoing legal advice on risk management and compliance. Engage in settlement negotiations to resolve disputes favorably. Collaborate with attorneys, legal staff, and corporate clients on litigation strategies. Oversee all aspects of litigation, including trial and post-trial procedures. Maintain accurate records of client work and track billable hours. Requirements
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Active bar membership in the state of Texas, in good standing. 2-4 years of experience in commercial litigation. Experience in depositions and in-court advocacy. Proficient in legal research tools and litigation software. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Education
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications
Active bar membership in the state of Texas. Skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. High level of attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Proven ability to lead and mentor junior attorneys and legal staff.
