Position Summary: We are currently hiring

Certified Pipe Welders

to support our mechanical construction projects. This role requires a highly skilled welder with up-to-date certifications and a strong background in welding carbon and stainless steel piping systems in commercial and industrial environments. You must be detail-oriented, safety-minded, and capable of producing code-compliant welds in accordance with ASME or AWS standards.

Responsibilities:

Perform TIG, MIG, and Stick welding on carbon and stainless steel piping systems

Interpret blueprints, isometric drawings, and welding procedure specifications (WPS)

Execute precise layout and fitting of pipe prior to welding

Complete high-quality welds that meet certification standards (ASME/AWS)

Assist in pressure testing and inspection of piping systems

Maintain proper documentation of weld logs and certifications

Follow all company, site, and OSHA safety regulations

Collaborate with pipefitters, foremen, and project management teams

Qualifications:

Current welding certification (ASME Section IX or AWS D1.1/D1.6 preferred)

Minimum 3 years of experience welding pipe in commercial or industrial settings

Proficient in TIG and Stick welding on carbon and stainless steel

Ability to pass on-site weld test

Strong skills in blueprint reading, pipe layout, and fit-up

OSHA 10 certification (preferred)

Must have own welding hood, basic hand tools, and PPE

Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to job sites as needed

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working under

API 1104

standards (American Petroleum Institute's standard for Welding of Pipelines and Related Facilities). This includes knowledge of welding procedures, welder qualifications, and inspection methods designed to ensure safe, high-quality pipeline welding. Familiarity with API 1104 is essential for maintaining the integrity and safety of pipelines transporting crude oil, petroleum products, and gases.
