MINIMUM 3 YEARS OF RECENT MAINTENANCE MECHANIC EXPERIENCE
Connect Staffing is seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic to fill an opening at a food manufacturing facility in
Colton, CA .
Schedule:
3rd Shift, start time may vary between 11:00am – 7:00am, with flexibility required for early mornings, weekends, and occasional OT
Requirements for Maintenance Mechanic:
3 years of recent maintenance mechanic experience in a manufacturing environment
Pass a drug screen and background check
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks, including standing, bending, and climbing ladders
Experience with mechanical and electrical troubleshooting (e.g., motors, drive systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, wiring, AC/DC drives)
Working knowledge of CMMS and lockout/tagout procedures
Experience with welding (stick or TIG), HVAC, and cooling systems such as ammonia or freon
Must provide own steel toe shoes – all other PPE provided on site
Prior experience in roles such as Maintenance Technician, Industrial Maintenance Mechanic, Facilities Technician, Plant Mechanic, HVAC Technician, or Machine Repair Technician is a big plus!

Responsibilities of the Maintenance Mechanic:
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues on plant equipment, including drive systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics
Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems including motors, wiring, switches, and transformers
Perform preventive maintenance on all plant machinery and equipment
Conduct facility maintenance including HVAC, lighting, and forklift servicing
Perform small temporary repairs to minimize downtime while awaiting permanent solutions
Report any food safety or quality concerns to appropriate personnel
Mandatory OT may be required up to 2 hours per day
