Asa DesignReleaseEngineer ,you'lltakeownershipofcomponentscriticaltovehicleperformancemanagingCADdevelopment,suppliercoordination,validationtesting,andproductionsupport.
Responsibilities
Design,develop,andreleaseautomotivecomponentssuchastransmissions,electricdrivemodules,axles,cranktrainparts,hydraulicsystems,andenginestructuralcastings.
Overseeallphasesofproductdevelopment,includingCADmodeling,DFMEA,DVP&R,PPAP,andBOMmanagement.
Collaboratewithcross-functionalteamsincludingmanufacturing,quality,validation,andsupplierstoensurequalityandperformancestandardsaremet.
UtilizeSiemensNXandTeamcenter(orCATIA)forCADdesignandreleaseprocesses.
Supportbuildeventsandresolveissuesinmanufacturingandassemblyenvironments.
RequiredQualifications
BachelorsdegreeinMechanical,Electrical,Aerospace,orMechatronicsEngineering(ABET-accredited).
5+yearsofexperienceindesign/releaseengineeringwithinanOEMorTier1environment.
Expertiseinatleastoneofthefollowing:
TransmissionoreDrivesystems
Driveline&axlecomponents
Cranktrainparts
Structuralenginecastings
FamiliaritywithCADtools(NXorCATIA)andPLMsystems(Teamcenter).
StrongunderstandingofDFMEA,GD&T,PPAP,DVP&R,andmanufacturingprocesses.
PreferredQualifications
MastersdegreeinEngineering.
Experiencewithhydraulicsystems,electricmotors,CANcommunication,orvehicleintegration.
FamiliaritywithStellantisdevelopmentprocesses.
GreenBelt,DFSS,orShainincertification.
