Essential Job Functions: Sign off on bill of lading (BOL) and cross-check packing lists. Efficiently fill client orders while adhering to Crane standard operating procedures (SOPs). Ensure all distribution activities align with internal quality standards and maintain a safe work environment. Read and follow work orders to ascertain materials or container loads to be moved. Operate equipment only after successful training, including pallet jack, rider jack, standup, order/cherry picker, turret truck, reach truck, and forklift over 5K. Effectively load and unload materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves using hand and forklift. Secure loads in vehicles using strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent damage during transit. Accurately count, weigh, and record units of materials handled on daily production sheets. Attach identifying tags or labels to materials for easy identification. Scan freight with RF equipment using the warehouse management system. Complete required paperwork thoroughly and promptly. Maintain a clean and safe workspace through regular housekeeping tasks. Load client merchandise accurately and courteously. Fulfill any other duties as assigned. Other Skills & Abilities: Strong math skills for basic calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division). Able to read, comprehend, and complete basic checklists and forms. Proficient at identifying and resolving problems promptly. Capable of balancing team and individual responsibilities effectively. Punctual and dependable with a consistent attendance record. Physical Requirements: Ability to use vision, adjust focus, and work on a standard computer screen. Willingness to stand or sit for prolonged periods and perform physical tasks, including reaching, stooping, kneeling, and climbing. Regularly lift and move up to 50 pounds manually. Must be present on-site at the assigned work location. Education & Experience: High School Diploma or GED preferred. Over one year of relevant experience is advantageous. Certifications & Licenses: Must obtain forklift certification within 90 days of hire. Additional certifications may be required in specific areas as assigned. Why Join Us?
