Principal Specialist, Tissue
for the Application Excellence team in our Packaging and Hygiene Solutions segment. As part of our Application Excellence team, the Principal Specialist provides advanced product and application expertise with significant impact in supporting the field sales force for paper machine wet end chemical and tissue specialties sales. The role provides guidance on product selection, testing, troubleshooting and communicating to mill personnel. The position responsibilities include : Provide technical support for field sales including testing protocols, product selection, application criteria, feed equipment and troubleshooting application performance. Contribute to profitable product line growth through commercializations of core technologies, technical sales training and optimizing applications. Contribute to the development of new technologies, applications and business opportunities and strategy. Provide technical lead on major and complex customer and internal projects (Corp. bids, TCM, etc). Paper Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or other technical discipline. Minimum 10 years experience in Paper Applications, Sales or R&D. Advanced technical knowledge in more than one application area and broad understanding of tissue wet end chemicals and tissue specialties including Yankee coatings. Proven track record of solving complex technical customer issues. Familiarity with data analysis and reporting.
