Overview
A client is looking for a Jr. Developer/Database Administrator to join their team. They will be responsible for supporting a customer & agent facing web application utilized at airports for customer baggage. The will partner with a team of developers based in Chicago, IL. in the continued development and bug fixing for this application. This role will primarily be responsible for providing overlapping support for these systems so that should anything come up with these systems, they’re able to quickly react, analyze the issue, report on the problem and assist with the resolution. While operations are running smoothly, they’ll be responsible for basic bug fixes and work towards resolution. They will be measured on how many they’re able to resolve and close out. They will be responsible for learning this application in and out so that they can quickly respond should an error come up during their shift as well as provide any insight on how it can be optimized and improved.

Responsibilities • Provide overlapping support for customer & agent facing web application used at airports for customer baggage.
• Collaborate with a Chicago-based development team for ongoing development and bug fixes.
• Quickly react to incidents, analyze issues, report findings, and assist with resolution.
• Perform basic bug fixes when operations are running smoothly and contribute toward resolution.
• Be measured on the number of issues resolved and closed out.
• Learn the application in depth to respond quickly to errors during shifts and provide insights for optimization and improvement.
Skills and Requirements
3+ years of experience as a developer or database administrator
.NET development background - ability to troubleshoot basic issues and perform bug fixes
Experience supporting Cloud/AWS applications
SQL background
Experience with Dynatrace
Experience with JIRA
Familiar working in an Agile/Scrum environment; DevOps/Harness background
Experience with Wiz for security scanning & patching
Unit testing experience
