We are seeking a highly skilled Varicent ICM Developer to lead the design, configuration, and implementation of the Varicent Incentive Compensation Management (ICM) platform. This role will work closely with business stakeholders, product managers, and technical teams to deliver a scalable, integrated solution that supports our incentive compensation strategies. 100% remote. Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a W2 basis. For W2 consultants, a comprehensive benefits package is offered, including medical, dental, and vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance. Pay: $70-$75/hr W2 Responsibilities
Lead the end-to-end implementation of the Varicent ICM platform, including system design, configuration, and deployment. Collaborate with business and product teams to gather requirements and translate them into functional Varicent models. Design and develop calculation logic, workflows, and reporting metrics using Varicent Composer, Reports Studio, and Web Admin tools. Configure compensation plans, quotas, crediting rules, and incentive structures within Varicent. Build and maintain integrations with upstream and downstream systems (e.g., CRM, ERP, HRIS) for data ingestion and export. Perform data modeling, transformation, validation, and troubleshooting to ensure accuracy and performance. Create dashboards and reports to support compensation analytics and business insights. Provide technical documentation, training, and support to end users and stakeholders. Participate in system upgrades, testing, and ongoing enhancements. Experience Requirements
5+ years of experience in Varicent (formerly IBM ICM/SPM) development and implementation. Strong hands-on experience with Varicent Composer, Reports Studio, and Web Admin. Proficiency in SQL, data warehousing, and ETL tools. Experience integrating Varicent with enterprise systems such as Salesforce, Workday, SAP, or Oracle (preferred). Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Comfortable in a fast-paced, agile development environment. Education Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
