GlobalLogic is a Hitachi Group Company. Method is seeking a Staff React Engineer with intimate familiarity with the web platform to join our team. Our Front End Engineers are engaged in the full spectrum of product development, working with a team to write great software and build engaging products. You are willing and able to partake in and lead communication with project stakeholders. You should be able to explain technical constraints to both technical and non-technical audiences. Responsibilities

Responsibilities include:

1) Collaborating with product, design, and backend teams to deliver scalable front-end solutions. 2) Writing high-quality, maintainable React code and building robust UI components. 3) Mentoring team members and helping plan and strategize work delivery. 4) Partnering with stakeholders to manage delivery expectations. 5) Building and interfacing with REST APIs and ensuring scalable UI and API design. 6) Contributing to code quality initiatives and improving development speed. Qualifications

5+ years of experience working on large development projects using React and related tools 3+ years of experience using Typescript 3+ years of experience building robust unit tests and component tests using tools like Jest, Vitest, React Testing Library, or Cypress 3+ years of experience developing in an Agile project management environment Strong understanding of component lifecycles and hooks in React 17+ Strong understanding of State Management tools like Redux, Context, and RTK Query, and the different uses/purposes of each Strong experience implementing code quality enforcement tools to improve the code quality and development speed of an engineering team Experience leading an engineering team, mentoring team members, and planning and strategizing work delivery Experience working directly with stakeholders to manage delivery expectations Get equally excited about scalable UI and API design 3+ years experience building and interfacing with REST APIs in modern languages and frameworks like Node.js, Ruby on Rails, etc. Understanding of scalable UI development patterns Understanding of scalable API development patterns Work well with others, enjoy collaborating with and mentoring others, unafraid to reach out to others for support Love learning and growing as much as delivering high quality products and features Nice to have

Experience building and managing scaled frontend architectures like Microfrontends, Monorepos, and shared internal libraries Experience managing and evolving CI/CD pipelines and related DevOps tools Experience building QA test automation using modern E2E Test frameworks like Cypress, Playwright, etc Experience building and maintaining application analytics Experience building Authentication and protected applications Experience utilizing tools to support monitoring, logging, and securing applications Experience architecting complex software systems Why Method?
