Your opportunity New Relics Product & Subscription Services (PASS) Team seeks an experienced software engineer to accelerate time to market for new products. You will help by providing self-serve components and services used by feature teams to build and sell their products and by improving the product ecosystem to reduce cost and manual toil in bringing new products to market. We are a remote-first, US Pacific-based team focused on delivering incremental value, releasing multiple times per day, and using Agile techniques and tools. Our products lead at the forefront of the industry, enabling organizations to monitor, analyze, and optimize their systems to improve reliability, performance, and user experience. What you'll do
Develop reliable and stable services using Ruby on Rails and Java. Create user interfaces for account configuration and product provisioning using React. Work with Kafka to provide data streams for ingestion by other teams. Monitor and troubleshoot services using New Relic product features. Participate in an on-call rotation to support services and maintain a healthy work-life balance. Collaborate with a diverse, highly skilled team. This role requires
2+ years of experience developing customer-facing Ruby on Rails applications in a team environment. Experience with front-end frameworks (React). Experience with REST APIs. A collaborative work style that supports shared code ownership. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to advocate your viewpoint respectfully. Clear written and verbal communication suitable for a remote-first, international company. Comfort with giving and receiving feedback; accountability and candor in a blameless culture. Bonus points

The pay range below represents a reasonable estimate of salary for this role and is eligible for a corporate bonus plan. Pay varies by location and factors such as experience and qualifications. $106,000 - $133,000 USD New Relic provides benefits including healthcare, dental, vision, parental leave and planning, mental health benefits, a 401(k) plan and match, flex time-off, holidays, volunteer time-off, and other competitive benefits.
