Overview
Equipment Finance Portfolio Management Associate or VP at Truist. The position involves managing the overall credit quality, risk mitigation, workout process, and operational and regulatory compliance of an assigned lease and loan portfolio within Truist’s Equipment Finance business. The role requires collaboration with Equipment Finance clients, Underwriting and Portfolio Management teammates, Originations, Credit Risk Management, Asset Management, and other matrix partners to perform ongoing portfolio monitoring and underwriting relationships. Responsibilities
Manage/mitigate credit risk of portfolio transactions. Complete on-time, accurate annual reviews, amendment memos, CLARs; maintain MRA quarterly spreads/PRISM grade reviews; maintain credit files and other compliance requirements (monthly tickler attestations, quarterly/annual credit file reviews and attestations). Develop deep understanding of industry and asset concentrations within assigned portfolio; maintain a proactive, forward-looking view on portfolio trends and risks. Adhere to Truist and Equipment Finance policies, processes, procedures and regulatory requirements; ensure policy execution and timely completion of required training/testing. Manage troubled (workout) credits with input from risk partners. Demonstrate Truist culture and values. Qualifications
BA/BS degree 6 years of related work experience Mastery of financial and accounting concepts to create or review in-depth financial models Strong organizational and leadership skills Advanced written and oral communication and interpersonal relationship management Solid analytical skills Preferred Qualifications
MBA degree with a Finance focus 8 years of related work experience Experience in mentoring and coaching Compensation and Benefits
The annual base salary for this position is $100,000 - $125,000. General Description of Available Benefits for Eligible Employees: All regular teammates (not temporary or contingent workers) working 20 hours or more per week are eligible for benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, tax-preferred savings accounts, and a 401k plan. Paid time off includes at least 10 vacation days and 10 sick days per year (prorated), plus paid holidays.
