Overview
Eurofins PSS Insourcing Solutions is seeking an Associate Scientist to support the mammalian protein expression group. The role involves basic mammalian cell culture and molecular biology techniques to support various protein expression needs. This is a full-time position located in San Diego, CA. Base pay and benefits

Responsibilities
Maintain mammalian cells and prepare cell culture to conduct weekly transfection/protein expression experiments. Assist in generation of stable cell lines for membrane proteins. Provide general molecular biology support (plasmid preparation, PCR, and cloning). Assist with general lab tasks and supply management. Collaborate with the PBS team on-site to achieve research objectives and timelines. Ensure accurate documentation of all experimental results. Qualifications
Minimum qualifications: Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship. Bachelor’s degree in biology, molecular biology, biochemistry, or a related discipline. Experience in mammalian cell culture and DNA plasmid preparation. Additional information
Position is full-time, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM with occasional overtime required.
