The Vice President of Finance is the senior financial executive responsible for overseeing all financial operations. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on oversight of accounting and compliance functions to ensure financial integrity, regulatory adherence, and sustainable growth. The VP of Finance drives financial strategy, consolidates property-level reporting, and partners with executive leadership to deliver insights that support profitability, efficiency, and long-term success. What you\'ll do
Develop and execute multi-property financial strategies aligned with organizational objectives. Consolidate financial reporting across all properties to deliver enterprise-level insights. Advise the CEO/COO and ownership on investments, financing, and growth opportunities. Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and benchmarks for property and consolidated performance. Assume responsibility for all Controller-level functions at each property, including general ledger, accounts payable, payroll, audit, and revenue control. Produce timely consolidated and property-level financial statements summarizing and forecasting income, expenses, and earnings. Oversee reconciliations of general ledger accounts and subsidiary ledgers across properties. Prepare regulatory filings, ensuring consistency and compliance across jurisdictions. Serve on the Title 31 Committee and ensure compliance programs are consistently applied at all locations. Maintain compliance with state gaming laws, federal regulations, tax codes, and internal control policies for all properties. Partner with property-level and corporate leaders in Gaming, Hospitality, Marketing, and Operations to support initiatives with financial planning and analysis. Review, negotiate, and approve major contracts, leases, and vendor agreements to secure favorable terms for the enterprise. Optimize financial systems, tools, and processes across all properties to enhance efficiency and standardization. Other duties as assigned Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; MBA and/or CPA is required. 10–15 years of progressive financial leadership, including oversight in the gaming industry. Strong knowledge of GAAP, Title 31, gaming regulatory compliance, and internal controls. Demonstrated success in leading large finance teams across multiple business units. Excellent communication and presentation skills with experience engaging executive boards and ownership groups. High integrity with the ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, ERP/accounting software, and casino management systems preferred.
