As a

Propulsion Component Engineer

you will own all aspects of spacecraft component design from concept to product realization, while working closely with a fast-paced, agile team that strives to make a high-performance spacecraft from a clean sheet design. Responsibilities

Own all aspects of component design from concept to product realization Generate detailed CAD models and manufacturing drawings Perform fluid, thermal, and structural analysis as required Work with the team and external sources to procure materials, fabricate parts, and complete assemblies Provide technical support for test operations Resolve technical issues with innovative and resourceful solutions Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science 3+ years of experience in valve or component design Hands-on experience working with fluid and mechanical systems Proficiency in CAD software with ability to learn new tools Capable of performing structural and thermal analysis in support of design Demonstrated ability in requirements definition, conceptual design, procurement, fabrication, assembly and testing of hardware Preferred Skills and Experience

Experience designing and operating high reliability, high performance hardware Experience with on-orbit propulsion components Experience in a startup or agile development environment Additional Information

Flexible schedule and willing to travel as needed Additional compensation details: Compensation bands are determined by role, level, location, and alignment with market data. Individual level and base pay is determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on job-related skills, education, experience, technical capabilities and internal equity. In addition to base salary, for full-time hires, you may also be eligible for long-term incentives, in the form of stock options, and access to medical, vision & dental coverage as well as access to a 401(k) retirement plan.
