A prominent law firm is seeking a skilled and motivated Insurance Coverage Attorney to join its national and international coverage practice. This opportunity is ideal for an attorney with atleast four years of experience advising and representing insurance carriers in complex coverage matters. The position offers exposure to high-value litigation and strategic advisory work, supporting the firm’s growing West Coast presence.

Duties
Provide legal counsel to insurance companies on a wide array of coverage issues Represent insurers in coverage disputes, litigation, and related proceedings Draft coverage opinions, pleadings, and dispositive motions Conduct legal research and manage written discovery Take and defend depositions Attend court hearings and argue motions Assist with strategy and case management across all phases of litigation Collaborate with legal teams across jurisdictions in a cross-border practice Requirements
2-5 years of insurance coverage experience in a law firm setting Strong background in litigation involving coverage under general liability, professional liability, and specialty insurance policies Licensed and in good standing with the California Bar Experience managing matters from inception through resolution Education
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited U.S. law school Strong academic credentials preferred Certifications
Active license to practice law in California Admission to additional U.S. jurisdictions is a plus Skills
