– Advance your skills and grow within Mercy Overview: Perform radiographic procedures at a technical level, not requiring constant supervision of technical details. Assume responsibility for procedures performed. Performs related duties as assigned.
Qualifications: Education Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program with completed clinical hours High school diploma or equivalent required Licensure State licensure may be required depending on location Certification & Registration ARRT certification required or registry-eligible Must achieve ARRT certification within
6 months of hire Experience Demonstrated experience in radiologic imaging, with proven capability to perform independently and efficiently Prior experience in orthopedic imaging or hospital-based settings preferred Skills & Competencies Advanced technical skills in radiologic procedures and equipment operation Strong understanding of anatomy and positioning for optimal imaging results Ability to evaluate radiographs for diagnostic quality and accuracy Effective communication and teamwork skills Adaptability in high-pressure or emergency situations Physical & Working Requirements Capable of manipulating x-ray equipment, including mobile units Able to lift, move, and transport patients safely Comfortable with prolonged standing and walking Must be able to recognize and respond to urgent clinical scenarios Technology & Equipment Proficiency Skilled in operating radiographic equipment, processors, and computer systems Familiarity with PACS and EMR systems preferred We’re bringing to life a healing ministry through compassionate care.
