Overview

Snap Inc is a technology company focused on redefining how people communicate through camera-driven products. We are seeking a bold, commercially-minded Director to lead the Creative Strategy team in North America, guiding the evolution of Snapchat’s creative solutions for advertisers across the US and Canada. This leader will drive business impact by turning Snap’s unique creative ecosystem into performance-driving campaigns, embedding platform-first thinking, AI-accelerated innovation, and world-class creative excellence into every engagement. As part of the Global Creative Strategy leadership team, you will set the regional strategy and vision, build trusted partnerships with senior Sales leaders, and scale Creative Strategy as a measurable revenue lever. You’ll lead a team of high-performing strategists, championing innovation and creative craft, and collaborating with cross-functional partners to shape industry-defining work in mobile, video, and AR experiences. What You’ll Do

Lead and grow a high-performing team of Creative Strategists across North America, spanning Large and Medium Customer Solutions (LCS and MCS). Champion Snap’s creative POV in the region, tailoring global CS vision to market-specific needs. Partner directly with Sales Leadership to influence revenue, with CS acting as a strategic unlock across both brand and performance campaigns. Maintain a relentless focus on creative excellence, delivering bold, insight-driven ideas that leverage Snap’s innovative formats and tools. Shape AI-accelerated creative workflows, enabling the team to pitch faster and smarter with story-led thinking and measurable results. Foster a culture of innovation by encouraging experimentation, embracing new technologies, and developing reusable storytelling assets that scale effective work. Establish clear metrics and frameworks that elevate creative quality, speed, and commercial impact across all engagements. Represent Creative Strategy in executive forums, acting as a general manager with a clear view on talent, operational efficiency, and strategic business influence. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

Experience in building creative excellence with a passion for innovative, platform-native work that delivers business results. Strong communication skills with the ability to command a room, simplify the complex, and ignite client ambition. Ability to engage, influence, and build trust with senior commercial leaders. Track record of coaching and mentoring, building inclusive teams, and modeling a growth mindset. Knowledge of data-informed creativity and AI-accelerated innovation, using tools and insights to scale impact and unlock new creative potential. Minimum Qualifications

15+ years of experience in brand strategy, creative leadership, or digital marketing — with at least 3 years managing senior-level talent. Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary creative teams (strategy, design, production) and scale programs across large client portfolios. Expertise in both brand and performance advertising, with the ability to shift between ideation and commercial decision-making. Experience treating creative as a business: setting objectives, influencing revenue, and guiding resources to high-impact opportunities. Experience in global or matrixed environments, translating global strategy into regional execution. Preferred Qualifications

Experience across agency, platform, and client-side roles. Familiarity with creative measurement tools, performance marketing metrics, and iterative testing. Experience launching or scaling creative enablement programs, playbooks, or frameworks. Additional Information
