Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist

to join our team. The Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for overseeing the recruitment lifecycle and driving talent acquisition strategies to meet the staffing needs of the organization. This role will focus on attracting, assessing, and hiring top-tier talent across various levels, particularly for hard-to-fill and strategic roles. The Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist will collaborate with hiring managers to understand hiring needs, manage candidate pipelines, conduct interviews, and ensure a seamless hiring process from start to finish. Salary Range $80,000-$90,000 ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Partner with leadership and hiring managers to develop effective, data-driven recruitment strategies. Staying current on talent acquisition trends, ensuring that the organization remains competitive in attracting top talent. Manage the recruitment process for mid-senior level roles, ensuring a seamless candidate experience. Create and post job advertisements across multiple platforms (job boards, social media, internal portals, etc.). Screen resumes, conduct initial interviews, and coordinate next steps with hiring managers. Develop and maintain strong pipelines for hard-to-fill roles and strategic positions. Proactively source and engage passive candidates through networking, industry events, social media, and employee referrals. Conduct prescreens, assess candidates' qualifications, cultural fit, and alignment with organizational goals to effectively make recommendations to hiring managers. Enhance the organizations employer brand through effective storytelling and content across job boards, social media, and other external platforms. Champion diversity and inclusion efforts throughout the recruitment process, ensuring a fair and equitable approach to candidate sourcing, interviewing, and selection. Ensure recruitment processes are compliant with all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of candidate pipelines, hiring data, and recruitment activities for reporting purposes. QUALIFICATIONS - EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION Required (Minimum) Qualifications Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in talent acquisition for mid-senior level roles. 3+ years of national engineering recruiting experience in AEC industry across multiple engineering disciplines. Experience in a fast-paced environment and managing complex recruitment initiatives. Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS). Deep knowledge of recruitment tools, job boards, and social media platforms. Knowledge of employment law across multiple states. Preferred Compensation market data, short- and long-term incentive compensation knowledge. Combination of corporate and agency recruiting experience strongly preferred. Work Environment characteristics The job is performed in an office setting with exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, mouse, and multi-line telephone system. The work described herein is primarily in a modern office setting. Occasional travel may be required. Additional Qualifying Factors As a condition of employment, you will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening (post accepted offer) and have acceptable background check results.
