Your Role:
As a Senior Data Center Project Manager, you will oversee all aspects of project administration including contractual requirements, agreements, purchase orders, and risk management, while ensuring exceptional work performance, quality, and overall team progress against the project plan.
Key Responsibilities:
Budget Management:
Produce detailed forecasts, coordinate tools for expense tracking, analyze cost exposures, and educate the team on budget updating protocols. Change Order Management:
Ensure thorough tracking of Proposed Change Orders and maintain up-to-date status reports for timely closure with Subcontractors. Project Close-Out:
Implement a comprehensive Close-out Plan early in the project and utilize effective management systems to ensure successful close-out procedures. Owner/Sub Requisition Process:
Streamline requisition approvals and maintain effective payment processes for subcontractors. Cash Management:
Manage project cash flow and maintain strong financial oversight, including producing accurate project valuations. Meeting Management:
Establish and manage a structured meeting schedule to facilitate strong communication and problem resolution. Contract Logs:
Maintain and periodically review essential project logs to identify potential issues. Subcontractor Relationships:
Cultivate professional and effective relationships with subcontractors, addressing performance issues promptly. Exhibit B Purchasing Process:
Collaborate with the team to ensure clarity in scopes of work and prevent delays due to purchasing issues. Schedule Management:
Lead the production and maintenance of a detailed project schedule while managing any impacts or changes that may arise. Risk Management:
Implement timely risk management practices throughout the project lifecycle and educate team members accordingly. Owner Relationship:
Foster a professional relationship with the Owner to keep them informed and engaged throughout the project. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with a minimum of 10 years of experience in project management. Proven track record of achieving profitability and strong project close-outs. Excellent organizational and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail. Ability to handle multiple priorities and make informed decisions in complex situations.
