Edgewater Federal Solutions is seeking a System Administrator II to support primarily Windows and Linux desktops and services at a major national laboratory. Responsibilities
System Administrator II to support for primarily Windows desktops & servers. There will be some Linux support required, along with some classified desktop support. Qualifications
Education/Experience - BA/BS in IT Related field. In lieu of degree, 6 years of relevant experience is acceptable.
Must be a US Citizenship Active U.S. Department of Energy Q security clearance Required Skills: Proficiency in Windows Desktop & Server System Administration Strong computer and network troubleshooting skills Knowledge of firewall technology and management of private LANs/networks Must be a US Citizen and work 100% onsite due to classified system support Active DOE Q Clearance minimum or DoD Top Secret with reciprocity Desired: Familiar with Linux Desktop & Server System Administration Familiarity with Active Directory, RSA, Splunk, Nessus, Ivanti Security Controls, and SentinelOne Anti-virus Experience in leading and implementing large technical solutions Knowledge of automation platforms (Ansible, VMware, Python) Proficiency in scripting languages (Bash, PowerShell) for automation and troubleshooting\ Experience with container technologies (Kubernetes, RKE, Docker) Certifications, such as RHCE or CCNA Prior experience with Sandia infrastructure Excellent customer service and communication skills About Us: Edgewater Federal Solutions is a privately held government contracting firm located in Frederick, MD.
