Position Title:
Director of Business Development – Oil & Gas Division (Midland, TX)

Midland, Texas or surrounding area

Tim Lathrop, President – PureLine
Overview:
PureLine is seeking a seasoned and well-connected senior executive to lead business development efforts in the Permian Basin, while also overseeing select local operations. This is a high-impact role focused on expanding PureLine’s presence in the Oil & Gas sector, specifically around chlorine dioxide (ClO₂) applications for frack-on-the-fly, produced water recycling, downwell treatments, and chemical sales.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead business development strategy and execution in the Permian Basin with a strong focus on driving revenue.
Leverage existing relationships in the O&G community to open doors and close deals.
Identify and secure new opportunities for ClO₂ technologies across key treatment and drilling applications.
Represent PureLine as a trusted partner to operators, service providers, and stakeholders in the field.
Provide leadership and support for local operations as needed, ensuring seamless execution and client satisfaction.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align business development efforts with operational capabilities.
Serve as a key advisor to the President on market trends, customer needs, and regional opportunities.
Requirements:
7+ years of senior-level experience in business development or operational leadership within the Oil & Gas industry.
Deep ties to the Midland and greater Permian Basin O&G community.
Strong understanding—or demonstrated aptitude to learn—the technical and commercial aspects of chlorine dioxide applications in upstream oilfield services.
Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate independently and drive measurable results.
Willingness to be hands-on when required in operations, but highly motivated by growth, revenue generation, and deal-making.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Compensation:
This role offers a competitive base salary with a performance-based incentive structure tied to business development success.
