You will play a crucial role within a global compliance team, addressing structural banking reform issues, such as CFTC Swap Dealer, SEC Security-Based Swap Dealer, French Banking Law, and the Volcker Rule. Key responsibilities include: Overseeing and enhancing the compliance program for swap dealer regulations. Monitoring changes in regulations and advising on their implementation. Managing the compliance program for the Volcker Rule and French Banking Law across the Americas. Reporting regulatory matters to senior management and serving as a subject matter expert for swap dealer concerns. We seek candidates with a minimum of 5-10 years of investment banking experience, specifically in broker-dealer, swap dealer, or a related regulatory role. A comprehensive understanding of US and international G10 regulations surrounding structural bank reform and OTC derivatives is vital. Strong organizational, project management, and interpersonal skills are essential, as well as the ability to communicate complex concepts effectively to senior management. A JD or MBA is preferred, with experience in a swap dealer compliance office being a plus. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong work ethic, a compliance-focused mindset, and the capacity to function autonomously while being an effective team collaborator.
