Join our team as a Customer Service Representative and play a crucial role in enhancing our retail store experience. In this position, you will work directly with both wholesale and retail customers, helping them to determine their needs, answering their queries about Sherwin-Williams products, and providing the best solutions tailored to them. Your goal will be to resolve customer concerns swiftly and ensure they leave satisfied while also keeping updated on product features to maintain visual standards. Your primary responsibilities will include: Delivering exceptional customer service to foster satisfaction and loyalty. Assisting customers in-store and over the phone by assessing their needs and presenting suitable products and services. Building strong, trusting relationships with both wholesale and retail customers. Accurately processing sales transactions and adhering to company policies. Aiming to meet and exceed sales goals consistently. Maintaining detailed work order files and product formulas. Retrieving products from the sales floor or warehouse as required. Tinting and mixing products according to customer specifications. Restocking shelves and arranging displays to showcase products effectively. Performing cleaning duties on store equipment. Loading and unloading delivery trucks. Assisting with deliveries when needed. Keeping assigned areas well-stocked and presentable. Staying knowledgeable about product offerings and discussing options with customers. Complying with inventory control procedures. Proactively suggesting methods to boost sales. This position is based at: 1460 S Main St, Blacksburg, VA 24060 and 1725 N Franklin St, Christiansburg, VA 24073. Minimum Requirements: At least 18 years of age. Must be legally authorized to work in the country without sponsorship. Valid, unrestricted Driver's License. Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs occasionally, with or without reasonable accommodation. Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends. For internal candidates, a meets expectations performance appraisal is required. Completion of all required HR Cloud eLearning courses for your current position. Preferred Qualifications: High School diploma or GED. At least one year of experience in delivery, retail, or customer service. Previous experience selling paint and related products. Experience operating tinting and mixing equipment. Ability to communicate effectively in more than one language, especially Spanish.
