Daytime (week/weekend shifts) Kitchen Assistant at JOURNEYS | The Road Home

This volunteer position is in the Kitchen at JOURNEYS | The Road Home, a homeless services organization in Palatine, IL. The duties in the Kitchen involve taking precooked items from the fridges, heating and serving them to our guests. The morning shift is from 9am-12pm and the afternoon shift is from 12pm-3pm. The afternoon shift is expected to have the kitchen cleaned up before they leave! Attending a volunteer training session is required before you can volunteer! 2 shifts available: 09:00 to 12:00 CST 12:00 to 15:00 CST
