About the Role
The organization is on the lookout for a Vice President of Partnerships with Corporations and Foundations to contribute significantly to its mission. This leadership role is integral to devising and executing a national partnership strategy aimed at securing essential mission support, emergency response, and programmatic funding. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in business development, especially within the non-profit and corporate landscapes.
Key responsibilities include:
Driving a comprehensive new business development strategy
Overseeing the strategic growth of partnership portfolios
Leading a dynamic team to achieve ambitious revenue goals
Strengthening relationships with existing partners and enhancing brand visibility
Exploring new avenues for revenue generation
Applicants should ideally possess a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, along with 15-20 years of substantial experience in a similar capacity. Proven leadership in business development teams is essential. We seek a high-energy, collaborative individual with exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and business acumen. The candidate should be capable of navigating change adeptly, have a strong professional network, and experience representing organizations at diverse events. Strong leadership and communication skills are critical for managing multiple projects effectively, and a willingness to travel (40%) is required.
