Maintenance Technician - Full -Time

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Follow preventative maintenance schedules and complete assigned work orders on time.
Support compliance efforts by maintaining accurate maintenance records and documentation required for state, federal, and GFSI audits.
Stay up to date on all relevant safety protocols and regulations, and ensure compliance at all times.
Read and interpret technical schematics, manuals, and blueprints as needed for equipment troubleshooting and repair.
Maintain and troubleshoot a wide range of machinery, including Hysense baggers, optical sorters, box erectors, welders, conveyors, ISHIDA scales, Bosch baggers, and forklifts, as well as any new equipment brought into the facility.
Perform welding tasks and fabrication work when required for machinery repair.
Provide hands-on technical support to ensure equipment runs efficiently and downtime is minimized.
Follow all established maintenance policies and safety procedures.
Demonstrate knowledge of and ability to use, maintain, and troubleshoot PLC systems, VFDs, and Servo drives.
Help create and maintain the inventory of parts and tools.
Show a willingness to learn new equipment, processes, and training as operations evolve.
While not in a supervisory role, assist with training and support of other maintenance team members as needed.
Perform inspections and repairs on electrical and mechanical systems and carry out additional duties as necessary to support smooth operations across all facilities.
Perform other duties and tasks as assigned
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
Strong Understanding of ISHIDA scales
Experience working with 480V, 3 phase
Bilingual (Spanish); Read and Write
Strong understanding of vacuum tubes
Working knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems
Minimum of 5 years in similar role
Physical Requirements:
Ability to perform the essential job functions consistently, safely, and successfully with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards
Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards
Travel to the Yuma facility as required.
