$37.04 - $55.57/hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience Join our dedicated team as a Database Administrator for EPIC Caché/Iris, supporting a rapidly growing healthcare organization that serves over 25,000 users. We seek an experienced and proactive administrator who thrives in a dynamic environment and excels at collaborating with diverse stakeholders. This full-time, exempt position requires candidates to reside in an approved state for consideration. Depending on experience, candidates may be considered for varying levels: Database Administrator (3 years of relevant experience) or Database Administrator Sr (5 years of relevant experience). Key Qualities: Expert problem solver capable of tackling issues within the EPIC (Caché/Iris) database. Adept at managing competing priorities while catering to a diverse clientele. Skilled in understanding and addressing customer requirements with effective solutions. Able to manage projects independently, communicate impacts to leadership, and resolve challenges. Proficient in building strong relationships with customers and team members, even in a remote work environment. Collaborative team player. Summary:
Design, implement, and maintain assigned databases and database management systems. Responsibilities: Act as a Subject Matter Expert for Caché/Iris: Install, configure, and maintain database environments. Set up Epic monitoring tools like Redalert and System Pulse, manage alerts and logs, and oversee administrative tools. Monitor service health, manage service requests, and oversee change management. Identify potential issues proactively and develop processes to prevent them. Perform regular upgrades and updates. Test, execute, and maintain business continuity procedures, including disaster recovery and backup restores. Configure and conduct environment refreshes. Evaluate performance metrics and troubleshoot performance issues. Apply critical thinking and decisive judgment, working with minimal supervision in a fast-paced setting. Requirements: High School diploma or GED. 3 years of relevant experience. Preferred Qualifications: At least 1 year of successful experience managing Caché/Iris. Basic knowledge of Linux operating systems and Shell Scripts. Bachelor's degree. EPIC (Cache/IRIS) certification. Experience collaborating with multiple project teams across business, IT, and infrastructure. A passion and drive to deliver results. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
