Release Manager - Security Clearance Needed

Maximus is on the lookout for a skilled Release Manager to play a vital role in supporting a mission-critical federal program. If you possess strong technical skills in software build and deployment, configuration control, and have experience with DevOps practices across various systems, we want to hear from you! Key Details: This is an on-site position that requires an active Secret clearance. Responsibilities: Manage and execute all DevOps and configuration changes across the program. Act as a backup facilitator for production stability release events. Lead the Change Request Queue (CRQ) and Operational Change Control Board (OCCB) meetings. Create and disseminate agendas, meeting notes, and calendar invites. Send out notifications across the program regarding release activities. Oversee software builds and coordinate deployments to test, staging, and production environments for all mission applications. Review and revise implementation plans in accordance with document control policies. Perform GitLab Admin tasks, including upgrades, patching, incident management, and user/account control. Complete additional tasks as assigned. Minimum Requirements: Must have an active Secret clearance. Due to contract stipulations, only US Citizens may apply. Dual citizenship is not permitted. A minimum of 7 years of experience in a related role, ideally in DevOps, release management, or configuration control. Proficient with version control systems, with GitLab being preferred. Experience managing enterprise-level deployments across multiple environments. Familiarity with Agile/DevSecOps methodologies and CI/CD pipelines. Must be able to commute daily for on-site work and meet on-call requirements. Willingness to participate in a rotational on-call schedule to support systems requiring 24/7 uptime.
