Our client is looking for a
Senior SAP FICO Specialist
to become a vital member of their ERP and Finance team. This is an essential new position aimed at supporting the client's dual ERP environments (ECC and S/4HANA) and facilitating their transition towards full S/4HANA migration. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring efficient financial operations, improving systems and processes, and enhancing overall functionality. The ideal candidate is an experienced SAP FICO professional with a strong background in
Product Costing
and comprehensive knowledge of core finance submodules including
Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), General Ledger (GL), Fixed Assets, Profit Centers, and Cost Centers . You should be adept at collaborating with senior leadership, managing projects, and integrating SAP with third-party applications. Key Responsibilities Deliver functional expertise across FICO modules with a strong emphasis on
Product Costing . Support and enhance both ECC and S/4HANA environments as the organization advances towards complete S/4HANA integration. Engage with business stakeholders to translate finance process needs into effective SAP solutions. Oversee integrations with third-party applications (including Vertex tax, Esker AP invoice processing, and payment processing systems). Provide continuous production support and lead enhancement initiatives. Collaborate with IT and business leadership on ERP strategies, cloud hosting choices, and potential involvement with system integrators. Steer and participate in project management tasks such as requirements gathering, testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and go-live assistance. Required Qualifications 10+ years
of experience with SAP FICO. Demonstrated expertise in
Product Costing
(standard costing, actual costing, COPA). In-depth knowledge of
AR, AP, GL, Fixed Assets, Cost Centers, and Profit Centers . Hands-on experience with both
ECC
and
S/4HANA . Strong grasp of
finance processes
and a proven ability to communicate effectively with senior leadership. Effective project management skills paired with strong communication abilities. Nice-to-Have Skills Familiarity with
third-party system integrations
(such as Vertex, Esker, credit card/payment processing). Knowledge of cloud-hosted SAP environments (both public and private, including AWS). Work Environment & Benefits Hybrid schedule : 2-3 days onsite (typically Tuesday and Wednesday, with flexibility as needed based on project deliverables).
