Job Description & Requirements Specialty: CT Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 09/29/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Title: CT Technologist Facility: Elmhurst Hospital Center Location: Elmhurst, NY 11373 Department: Radiology Diagnostic (Dept. ) Shift: 12:00 AM – 8:00 AM Key Responsibilities: Perform CT imaging procedures as prescribed by referring physicians. Operate relevant imaging equipment in a safe and effective manner. Ensure image quality and patient safety throughout the diagnostic process. Document procedures and maintain accurate patient records. Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and healthcare staff. Maintain equipment and report malfunctions. Comply with hospital policies and regulatory standards. Required Qualifications: Experience: Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience in an acute care setting. Licensure: Valid Radiologic Technologist , Nuclear Medicine Technologist , or Radiation Therapy license issued by the New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH) . Post-primary certification in CT by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is required. Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) preferred. Skills: Proficient in operating CT equipment and relevant imaging software.
