Job Purpose: Transports materials, machines, and other items to various departments, vendors, or customers.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or G.E.D; Minimum of 2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be 21 years old or older. An acceptable driving record and valid state CDL Class A license. Current and valid Medical Certification Card.
• Knowledge of State traffic, and D.O.T. laws.
• Skills & Abilities: High attention to detail and dexterity in vehicle control to ensure proper delivery while preventing damage. Strong communication skills (verbal and written). Ability to work indoors and outdoors under adverse weather conditions. Must obtain a Fork Lift Truck license within 30 days of assignment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist in loading and securing materials and equipment on trucks. Verify materials and quantities for accuracy.
• Ensure timely delivery of products and materials to customers, vendors, or company locations using the most efficient routes.
• Operate tractor-trailer while obeying traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Unload products and materials at destinations using appropriate equipment.
• Complete required paperwork for deliveries, returns, and transfers for inventory tracking.
• Maintain cleanliness of delivery vehicles.
• Perform routine safety checks on vehicles and report issues.
• Support Shipping/Receiving activities with forklift tasks at Whitehall locations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Training Requirements: New Hire Orientation, Hi-Lo Operator Licensing, PPE

• Bend, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch.
• Sit and/or drive for extended periods.
• Lift and move 50-100 lbs frequently.
• Exposure to distracting or uncomfortable noise levels.
