About the Role:
The Human Resources Coordinator plays a pivotal role in supporting the HR department within the health care and social assistance industry by managing and streamlining employee-related processes. This position ensures the efficient onboarding of new hires, accurate maintenance of employee records, and compliance with employment laws and organizational policies. The coordinator acts as a liaison between employees and management to foster positive employee relations and address workplace concerns promptly. By administering benefits and maintaining HRIS systems, the role contributes to a seamless employee experience and supports organizational goals. Ultimately, the Human Resources Coordinator helps create a productive and compliant work environment that supports both employee satisfaction and operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage the full cycle of employee onboarding, including new hire paperwork and orientation scheduling.
- Maintain and update employee records accurately within HRIS systems and employee databases.
- Administer employee benefits programs, ensuring timely enrollment and communication of benefits information.
- Support compliance with employment laws and organizational policies by assisting with audits and documentation.
- Serve as a point of contact for employee relations issues, facilitating communication and resolution between staff and management.
- Utilize ADP Workforce and other HR software to process new employee accounts
- Collaborate with HR team members to improve processes and support various HR initiatives and projects.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience working with HRIS systems and employee databases.
- Familiarity with employment laws and regulations relevant to the health care and social assistance sector.
- Experience with employee onboarding and benefits administration.
- Proficiency in ADP Workforce or similar HRIS software.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in Human Resources
- Experience working in the health care or social assistance industry.
- Advanced knowledge of benefits administration and compliance requirements.
- Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
- Experience with process improvement initiatives within HR functions.
