We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Human Resources Manager to lead and manage the end-to-end HR functions for our facility located in Gilbert, AZ 85233.

Essential Functions:

  • Collaborates with plant and functional leadership to get input on HR decisions and ensures delivery of high-quality HR processes

  • Maintains human resource information system records and compiles reports from the database, as well as updates job requirements and job descriptions for all positions

  • Supports organization staff by developing a recruiting strategy for open positions, working with hiring managers to identify candidates through a variety of sources

  • Oversees and manages a performance appraisal system that drives high performance

  • Assesses training needs to apply and monitor training programs

  • Processes weekly payroll

  • Implements and administers employee benefits programs and informs employees of benefits; recommends benefit programs to Management

  • Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements, conducting investigations, maintaining records, representing the organization and hearings, and maintaining compliance with reporting (EEO-1, VETS-4212, OSHA, AAP, etc)

  • Manages leave of absences, workers compensation claims and COBRA processing

  • Enforces management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures

  • Mediates and works to resolve employee grievances with the employee, managers and/or supervisors

  • Assists with the planning and organizing of company events, e.g luncheons, recognition, etc.

  • Attends monthly Safety Committee Meetings and Business Review Meetings

  • Other duties as deemed appropriate

Qualifications/Competencies

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related business field or similar work experience strongly preferred
  • 7+ years HR Generalist experiences, preferably in a manufacturing environment or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years HR Management experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment or equivalent work experience
  • Comprehensive understanding of local, state and federal employment laws
  • Recruiting using all current platforms
  • Working knowledge of employee benefit plans
  • Knowledge of Paylocity or similar automated payroll solution
  • Exceptional interpersonal communication and relationship building skills
  • Strong sense of ethics and confidentiality with regard to employee and business issues
  • U.S. Person Requirements - Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, a candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

Supervisory Responsibility

  • This position does not currently supervise others.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, use hands to handle and reach with hands and arms.

This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products, supplies and materials up to 20 pounds.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is an Exempt, salaried full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
