Join Psychiatry Services of New York, a proud part of the Optum family, as we seek passionate Licensed Social Workers to join our dedicated teams. In this exciting role, you will play a vital part in our mission to enhance healthcare for everyone while working in a hybrid model requiring three days per week on site in Liverpool, NY.

As a Licensed Social Worker, you will have the opportunity to treat a diverse range of mental health conditions, addressing the unique needs of our patient population. We provide comprehensive organizational support, allowing our providers to focus fully on delivering exceptional care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct screenings and assessments for common mental health disorders.
  • Deliver treatment for mental health conditions using various approaches, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and other evidence-based methods.
  • Systematically track treatment responses and observe patients for changes in clinical symptoms and potential side effects of treatments.
  • Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records and clinical documentation to comply with all regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in psychology, social work, or a related counseling field.
  • Clear, active, and unrestricted LCSW license in the state of New York.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of professional social work or clinical experience post-master's degree.
  • Experience in providing direct psychotherapy services to individuals and families.
  • Proficiency in using computers for professional communication and medical documentation, including Excel, Outlook, and EHR systems like Athena RMS.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with equal effectiveness.

Salary for this role will range from $58,800 to $105,000 annually based on full-time employment, with flexibility in benefits depending on eligibility criteria.
