About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President, Commercial to spearhead the development and execution of its commercial strategy, with a focus on the successful launch and growth of therapeutic products, particularly in the rare disease space. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a comprehensive U.S. commercial strategy that aligns with the company's objectives, including pricing, market access, and reimbursement. This role demands a leader who can drive the achievement of revenue targets, ensure full P&L accountability for the U.S. commercial organization, and lead the marketing efforts to support product positioning and future growth. Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders in the healthcare ecosystem is also a critical aspect of the position. Applicants for the Vice President, Commercial role at the company should have a Bachelor's degree, with an advanced degree strongly preferred, and at least 15 years of experience in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry, including a minimum of 5 years in senior commercial leadership. The role requires a strategic thinker who can identify and address access and adoption barriers, and who is adept at evolving marketing strategies to meet the needs of patients and providers.
