The Leidos National Security Sector's Mission Solutions Business Area is seeking a highly experienced Chief Engineering Leader to guide a multidisciplinary engineering team. Your focus will be on improving U.S. Department of Defense capabilities against Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) and Hardened Facility defeat capabilities. You will enhance these capabilities through advanced analysis, modeling, and simulations of critical processes, thus identifying vulnerabilities and potential defeat strategies. Key Responsibilities: Define and execute a technical vision and strategy, providing leadership to promote a culture of innovation. Collaborate with program management to make crucial decisions, ensuring quality engineering solutions and overseeing requirements development. Work alongside the Building Information Modeling (BIM) Coordinator to develop and implement BIM standards and workflows. Oversee the integration of BIM models across various disciplines and ensure interdisciplinary coordination. Collaboration with the Chief Software Architect to establish engineering and modeling requirements. Coordinate with the Chief Scientist to identify modeling and simulation requirements for complex system analysis. Supervise Engineering Production Leads to align production workflows with yearly goals. Required Skills and Experience: Master's degree in an engineering discipline with 15+ years of experience or a Doctorate in the same field with 13+ years of experience. Multi-disciplinary experience encompassing both technical and personnel management. Experience with digital twin technologies and 3D simulation networks. Proficiency in BIM Software tools like Revit, Civil 3D, Navisworks, BIM360, etc. Strong communication and team collaboration skills. Desired Skills and Experience: Experience as or working with facility managers. Understanding of both above and below-ground facilities. Knowledge of industrial IoT platforms and SCADA systems. Familiarity with protective engineering and vulnerability analysis. Security Clearance:
