About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic Vice President to join our Investment Management Legal team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to advise on derivatives-related trading agreements and navigate regulatory obligations that impact our Parametric and other investment management businesses. Your expertise will support a diverse range of investment products and client initiatives.
This position demands a profound comprehension of the regulatory environments surrounding asset management, particularly related to the Commodity Exchange Act, National Futures Association rules, and pertinent legislation. As part of your responsibilities, you will draft and negotiate complex agreements, including investment management and derivatives trading agreements, while utilizing your extensive experience in swaps, futures, options, and OTC derivative transactions.
To succeed in this position, candidates should possess:
A J.D. from a nationally-recognized law school
Bar admission
At least 6 years of relevant experience, preferably with a distinguished law firm or asset manager
Ideal candidates will demonstrate a proven track record in engaging and overseeing external counsel, along with substantial experience in the legal intricacies of derivatives trading and investment management.
