Your role is crucial in impacting the lives of our patients. We are in search of a dedicated AVP of Healthcare Facility and Energy Management like you to enhance our team.
Job Summary and Qualifications
This leadership position will guide the strategic sourcing direction and management of supplier agreements related to healthcare facilities, encompassing construction, maintenance, and operational services. Additionally, this role involves managing contracts for energy services including natural gas and electricity.
The ideal candidate will have a proven success record in leadership and organizational influence, particularly when collaborating with executive teams and various departments to achieve sourcing results. Expertise in category development and successful contract portfolio expansion is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Secure competitive pricing and advantageous contract terms.
Analyze complex business issues and implement effective solutions.
Oversee department performance and results.
Lead, train, and inspire the strategic sourcing team.
Facilitate collaboration across departments including finance, account management, and sales.
Engage with client board members and senior management in strategic discussions.
Support sales and account management functions.
Drive achievements toward financial and operational goals.
Innovate and develop solutions for clients.
Additional Duties:
Uphold the highest ethical standards in all endeavors.
Meet or surpass established contracting goals.
Develop consensus on contract awards among member boards and departments.
Communicate project statuses and outcomes effectively.
Ensure compliance with internal policies and resolve service issues.
Enhance contracted volumes of minority businesses and sustainable products.
Lead complex solicitations and special projects with sound judgment.
Qualifications Required:
Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or engineering.
Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in strategic sourcing and energy contract negotiation.
Strong understanding of healthcare facility operations, design, and sustainability solutions.
Experience with energy trading, utility services, financial analysis, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
Desirable: Registered professional licensed engineer.
