We are looking for servers who are enthusiastic about craft cocktails and tiki culture, outgoing, must have experience in casual fine dining and high-volume restaurants. We are looking for someone who knows how to upsell as there are a lot of opportunities to do so here and must love having fun.
Our servers are expected to know our diverse menus inside and out. The Honu has a fast-paced and high-volume atmosphere, so it is crucial that our servers take pride in providing attentive and friendly service that ensures our guests feel valued and well taken care of.
Responsibilities
This position requires serving customers while maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Arrives for shifts in a clean uniform and maintains good hygiene
Trained to be well versed in all menu items and daily specials, as well as all alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
Take orders while suggesting and upselling menu items and specials
Maintains a clean and safe working environment
Assist co-workers when necessary
Takes initiative and shares ideas to improve quality of service when the opportunity arises
Qualifications
Serving guest in the aloha style
Ability to navigate POS system
Good communication skills
Ability to multitask
