Radius Aerospace– Hot Springs is a leading manufacturer of sheet metal parts and assemblies used in the aviation industry. We utilize a wide range of metal forming techniques and special manufacturing processes, servicing the commercial, military, regional jet, helicopter, and general aviation markets.
Position Summary
Maintenance technicians are responsible for keeping a facility operating and repairing any problems when they are discovered before they have a chance to worsen. They will usually be required to perform a wide range of repair tasks around the facility. Other tasks may include: performing routine maintenance around the building such as fixing structural damage, for example, windows, door, or wall repairs; repairing broken or leaking plumbing, and restore full use of water fixtures; working on damaged electrical wiring when a short or severed wire occurs; maintain the buildings HVAC equipment in order to keep climate control in the facility functioning properly; apply preventative measures to the building to reduce the risk of future problems, such as using a sealant on a flat roof; fixing potential safety hazards to avoid injuries; painting the building when old paint has been peeled or chipped; and other tasks as assigned.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Repair and maintain hydraulics and pneumatic systems
Knowledge of welding, fabricating, PLC, plumping, electrical troubleshooting, and general industrial maintenance
Knowledgeable in hydraulic pumps but will familiarize you on our equipment.
Safe work practice knowledge
Knowledge of OSHA regulations
Some basic computer and tablet knowledge
Report to work on time, follow instructions from supervisor or management, interact well co-workers, understand and follow work rules and procedures.
Good regular attendance is an essential function of this position.
Other various duties as needed or as assigned.
Position Requirements
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills
Industrial maintenance experience
Welding and fabrication experience
Ability to lift 50 lbs
Valid Driver's License required
Electrical License/Training
