As a highly-skilled and compassionate EP Nurse, you will provide assistance with electrophysiology interventional procedures in both the inpatient and outpatient setting. You will assist and educate patients undergoing an electrophysiology study procedure of the heart, help to develop and implement systems to assure the smooth and efficient flow of patients for procedures in the Electrophysiology (EP) Lab, and assist the patient through all aspects of the procedure. You will maintain accurate, timely and compliant patient records. Qualifications: Current nursing license in good standing, Associate's Degree in nursing required, bachelor's preferred, American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification, American Red Cross or American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certified (ACLS) and certification required. Two to three years of Cath Lab experience required. All applicants must be proficient in interpreting EKGs, vital signs and hemodynamic monitoring.
