Production Machine Operator

Kelly is helping our client, a global leader in temperature-controlled packaging solutions, to hire dedicated Production Machine Operators to join the growing team in Maple Grove! As a Production Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining filling and sealing machinery and production lines, ensuring the efficient and accurate production of insulated packaging panels. This role requires a strong attention to detail, the ability to troubleshoot minor equipment issues, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and productive work environment. 1st Shift: Monday - Friday, 5:30 AM - 2:00 PM Pay: $19.50/hour What You'll Do:
Operate and maintain machinery and production lines that performs the filling and sealing function for insulated packaging panels Perform machine setup, routine maintenance, and troubleshooting as needed. Read production orders, complete paperwork, and perform basic math calculations. Observe machine processing for proper functioning and product quality, stopping or resetting machines when malfunctions occur. Use manual or electronic inventory systems to locate and record orders and inventory information. Operate material moving equipment (2-wheeler, pallet jack, forklift) to manage materials. Adhere to established safety policies and procedures. Perform quality assurance checks to ensure product meets required standards. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Follow company policies and safety guidelines. Perform additional duties as assigned. What You'll Need:
High school diploma or equivalent. One year or more of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment. Knowledge of basic hand tools. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents. Ability to make decisions to solve in-process problems. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Flexibility to work overtime, or adjust to shift start and end times as needed. Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, sit, climb, stoop, kneel, and crouch in a production environment. Ability to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally. Steel toe shoes Why join the team?
