Associate Systems Administrator (T1)

Leidos is seeking an Associate Systems Administrator (T1) who is eager to learn and grow in enterprise server administration. You will work under the guidance of senior engineers to manage Windows Servers, provide application support, and environment compliance to regulatory controls. Specifically, in this role you will be responsible for: Application support for Windows Server virtual machines including regular platform upgrades, vulnerability management, troubleshooting, automation with native scripting languages, performance management, application inventory and administration, and compliance to regulatory baselines. Configure Ipv4/Ipv6, DNS/DHCP, and firewall rules to control network flows. Collaborate with security teams and development staff to resolve system errors and vulnerabilities. Participate in in-house training programs to foster and spread knowledge and awareness to project teams, promote and empower decision making, and manage incident reports. Identify and implement cost-saving improvements and operational efficiencies over the lifespan of projects and resources. Use logs and metrics to investigate and resolve incidents and system performance issues. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree achieved in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Cybersecurity and 0+ years of experience. Hands on experience troubleshooting or administering Windows operating systems or networks. Self-starter that can work independently with guidance, as well as initiative to self-learn tools, techniques, and principles to be effective. Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Ability to self-manage work tasks using M365 based tools. Ability to obtain public trust clearance. Preferred Qualifications: Experience managing users and devices in EntraID or Intune. Direct experience hands on with Azure Sentinel or Azure Defender.
