Your mission? Sustain the heart of our production facility by maintaining equipment and ensuring peak performance and efficiency.
Core Duties
Install and repair plant machinery and equipment.
Operate with independence, requiring minimal oversight.
Flexibility to work overtime, off shifts, and weekends as necessary.
Key Responsibilities
Prioritize safety: follow procedures such as LOTO and other safety protocols.
Expertise in facilities equipment like pumps, HVAC, and electric control systems.
Diagnose and remedy mechanical issues in various machinery including pumps and extruders.
Tackle electrical components troubleshooting and repair, from circuit breakers to safety switches.
Perform minor welding, cutting, and fabrication tasks.
Conduct preventive maintenance and document work orders.
Interpret and utilize mechanical and electrical schematics.
Employ maintenance tools effectively, from forklifts to electrical meters.
Strategically plan daily tasks, projects, and critical plant shutdowns.
Maintain an immaculate workplace.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED.
A plus: Electrical or Maintenance trade school certificate or equivalent experience.
Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
Physical Demands
Lift up to 55 pounds safely during shifts.
Comfortably work on elevated platforms or ladders.
Navigate non-climate controlled environments.
Shift Details:
Typical hours are 10:45 pm to 7:00 am with initial 1st shift training from 6:45 am to 3:00 pm.
Reliable attendance and the ability to accommodate mandatory overtime are crucial, with shifts extending beyond scheduled times or requiring rotations through evenings and weekends.
