Light Commercial HVAC Installer

Position Overview:

As a

Light Commercial HVAC Installer , you will be responsible for the

installation, replacement, and start-up

of

light commercial HVAC systems , including

air conditioning units ,

heating systems ,

ductwork , and

ventilation equipment . This role requires hands-on field experience, knowledge of

mechanical codes , and the ability to read

blueprints

and

technical specifications .

Key Responsibilities:

Install and replace

light commercial HVAC equipment , including

rooftop units ,

split systems ,

ductwork ,

exhaust fans , and

ventilation systems

Perform

start-ups

and initial testing of HVAC systems to ensure proper operation

Interpret and follow

blueprints ,

installation manuals , and

technical drawings

Adhere to

OSHA safety standards , company safety protocols, and HVAC codes

Collaborate with

project managers ,

foremen , and

other trades

to complete projects efficiently

Maintain tools, vehicles, and jobsite organization

Provide professional and courteous service to clients and maintain positive working relationships

Requirements:

2+ years of experience in

light commercial HVAC installation

(rooftop units, ductwork, A/C systems, etc.)

EPA Section 608 Certification

required (Type I and II or Universal)

Strong working knowledge of

HVAC components ,

ductwork systems , and

installation procedures

Ability to read and interpret

blueprints ,

wiring diagrams , and

mechanical drawings

Strong

troubleshooting

and

problem-solving

skills

Must be able to work in varied environments: rooftops, confined spaces, and outdoors

Must have a

valid driver’s license

and a

clean driving record

Previous roles may include:

HVAC Installer ,

Sheet Metal Mechanic ,

HVAC Technician , or

HVAC Helper
